- Group A (Day 3): Work on article.
- Group B: Read the newspaper.
Thursday:
- Group A (Day 4): Show rough draft of article to the teacher. Work on the article with a peer and go over the appropriate checklist.
- Group B (Day 1): Turn in article proposal and accompanying clipped article (of the same type) to the teacher at beginning of period.
Friday:
- Group A (Day 5): Turn in the final draft to the teacher at the beginning of the period. Make corrections and begin the final layout when the article is returned to you.
- Group B (Day 2): Work on article by scheduling interviews, taking pictures, and performing research.
